Dreams Never

by Lexi Hilife - Leo

Dreams Never

Twisted sheets imitating ivy round your trunk down your thigh
Direction confused after love's hurricaine
Basking in the eye your hair spread out
Duskflecked undulating kelp
I have swum a sea buoyed by my heart
One breath more may unhinge me yet
I love you I gasp reaching...

For confirmation
Your mind goes delta (unavailable)
Illusionary testament that I ever had you at all
You might only be flotsom and jetsam
Little bobbing souvenirs to tease my senses

One eye's corner witnesses impossible things
Long thin grayherring skims at horizon
Seperating the sun's plunge from a now calm ocean
It wont last anymore than you did

Dreams never do yet we dream again and again
Kalidescope faces and labyrinthine desires
Longing for content conclusion Lexi Hilife
