Where did Christianity go wrong? It happened when so many men took different parts of a man's teachings and taught them as their own. Where did all of the hate come from? For I was always taught that we love eachother as we love ourselves. Why can't we do that anymore? Where does it say that Christians can cast stones because one of our fellow brethern does something we don't like? It never should have been this way. Christ taught of compassion, love, forgiveness. He taught that we love others with undeniable passion. He also taught that all men are equal no matter what race, creed, color, beliefs or life preference. So how do Christians come off being so hateful? Until all Christians can come together under Christ's true teachings, we will all continue to be looked at as hateful, spiteful hypocrites. I can't live like that anymore as a Christian. So how it the HELL can all of you?
Reason for writing:
I'm tired of people putting on the facade of being a Christian while harboring so many feelings that are so against the teachings of my God. I'm not perfect, but I will not tear others down for my short-comings as so many Christians have.
