Goodnight my friend... Our journey's throughout time have been hard fought. With each step I took, you were along side me. You are my shadow. You are the part of me that completes my drive for ambition. But you are also my the darkest part of me. You are the side that can never be happy. The side that throws joy to the side as you have done so many times before. We are one in the same, but with a seperate consciousness. What I need, you will try to destroy. Your lusts in mind, body, heart, soul and spirit will inevitably devour me if I can't let go. Darkness leads to heartache and pain, is that where you truly want to take me? Back to the place where this all started? I cannot take this journey with you this time my friend. For life has given me a light to walk towards while your path is treaded in dark mysteries. At this, our crossroads, we must part ways. Live long and well within your darkness while I contiune towards my light. You are my shadow, the darkest parts of me. Work hard to remember this: I will return to our place once again. Next time, it will be on the battlefield as enemies and never as friend again.
