Worthy

by Aquarius84 - Aquarius

I admire you,
But your persistence doesn’t,
Your delusion blinds you,
As success evades you,
Worthy; Am I?
The words are worthless!
Minds are set,
While debates are futile,
Your debates are needless; I know my worth.
Your false protection is not required; I am not ashamed.
Hear my words,
Do not judge these mysteries,
I am regal,
I am noble.
If the need is unwavering; let it be diverted,
There it is,
See it sitting, glaring into their eyes,
Waiting patiently,
Flaws are closer than belief,
A gargoyle waiting,
Stoned into immortality,
Eyes fixated,
Salivating,
Suffocated by the findings,
Fascinating facts,
The truth does not die,
It can not be poisoned by mortality.
Save your pity,
And remember your humanity,
You can not contract the distance that expands between us,
The world that pulls us apart,
Delusion is futile,
Stop.
Take a breath and reassess,
Must we continue this aimless fight or let sanity prevail?
The penalties are greater than what you’re able to risk,
The battlefield is for the strong,
While your experience betrays you,
Feel these scars my darling,
The truth lies within my heart.
I am used to loss,
In time you will be too.

Reason for writing:

The feeling of never being good enough.
