I’ve been staring at these words for far too many hours; and I admit I’m amazed at your flawless timing. Were these words wounds, I’d be in shock Or bleed out in failing trying To sense a way through their elusive form Since then days were spent in shouting silence; but perhaps there’s more meaning to that very sound than any word I possibly could breathe to give shape to thoughts to come. And yet I marvel at this timely invitation Here at this greater turning point I realize the timeless nature of this place And yet remember a time when this was everywhere I felt at home with my words. Seems now I’m out of breath to do the deed Daring not the desert ride But now is not the time to pick The riches to be buried with This place was everywhere and is; Has outlasted death, and lives And so I must breathe life Arrive in dusk, across the sand I fly Hoping for a keener sentinel.Birth sign: Capricorn
