i've been desperate
for it
  in manic episodes
  dug holes in flesh
probing for it
   by unassuming demands
i've panicked in it's
   absence
eventually i will
    realize in near 
absolution
  that only
nothing will sustain it
after exhaustion
   and failure
mimicking and lies
    denial and force
 it lays there
waiting until
   nothing  
 remains
