I tired to write you a poem today I sat all day I thought of romantic things to say clichés I had heard I tried using words from other great men attempting to duplicate their mastery Trying to form words and expression that would capture your heart Give you words that would surround you caress you Words that would resonate to the depths of your heart Words that would feed Words that when heard would leave no doubt But alas I was tricked The words they abandoned me I was left wordless as if my very tongue had been cut out of mouth. The words ran into a wall. The wall of my fathers. Every brick on this wall was laid with care. Every brick is a myriad of inscriptions, Chiseled with the law and wisdom of my fathers. Bricks laid with the mortar dripping and the words already plastered on. It is this inscription filled wall that my words now collide with It is this wall that will not yield.Birth sign: Virgo
