In times of heartache, Christians want to cry to Christ for peace and contentment. In times of joy, most act like he never existed. When trials and tribulations turn your way, Christ Jesus' name is always on your tongue. In times of peace and serenity, it as if you see our God as a voice in the winds passing through our lives. Where in the hell do you get off? Self-righteous, ignorant, back-biting, two-faced, back-sliding Christians. Then you wonder why there is a drop in Christian belief in our world. You continue to push our brothers and sisters away with you compounded belief that you are right above all. If you are, then Christ was wrong because your teachings lead me to believe Christ hasn't come to dwell within the church for ages. I made a vow to the Lord to bring His children home. So, why in the hell do you keep showing them the door when it is you that should be leaving?
Reason for writing:
I recently read an article in "TIME" magazine about the decline in Christian belief in the past decade. We all know the problem as Christians, so let's change this cynical view of us into a view that will have everyone embrace our spirituality instead of run from it?
