The War

by Ian Probstein - Cancer

	The War

The being of human beings
is substantial: the trails
of civilization are all over the Earth.
The descendants of Tartars, Scythians,
Greeks, Romans, Huns, and other Crusaders
left footprints everywhere.
They battle still
for their ideals, shrines, and gods.

Can anyone tell me how many centuries
the Trojan war will last?

Reason for writing:

Contemplation on human nature and history.
