You don't get to replace me

by Twan - Aries

Never seen your face, wouldn't know you from Duke
Don't know if you're a serious man, or some kook
Hell, if you even exist, or even blow
There's something I want you to know:
That's my girl. I'm part of her heart
And there's only one reason we're apart
You don't want to observe the code? I have one felt
I'm taking you outside, on your face raising a welt
You're not in the picture. To me you just fail
Take your ass back to Colorado-Vail
I loved her down, and up, to the side
I just went away for a while, I never died
So don't move in on my girl. You've been warned
And hell hath no fury like a bear scorned

Listen up, dude, because the things I did
If she was able to, we'd have a kid
So you don't get to replace me with her
Onward I drive, driven by a spur.
What? Restraining Order? You made that up
And ask your judge: I paid that up.
I was here before you, and I'll be there when you're gone
I'm the bishop, biotch, you're just a pawn.

She still loves me. I still love her true
Cause I made her promises. And I'll follow through
So you'd better treat her right. I'd better not hear
that you EVER treated her wrong. Or you should live in fear.
But you should do that anyway. Know that I'm near.
You'll never be safe or in the clear.
Because you'll screw up. And then you'll face me.
And see firsthand, that you could never replace me.

Reason for writing:

I find myself wanting to yell this at the men who try to date my exes, since I'm still in love with all three of them.
