What does it mean when the sun rises, but you do not see it's light? How are you to deal with the coldness of the day when the sun brings no heat? Days used to come with the light, but now they all can be dark as night. In this world, two moons rise instead of giving way to a new day. The breeze does not bring a coolness to a warm day, but a coldness to an eternal valley during the nightfall. There once was a flame that burned which made the sun's heat envelop this world, but a storm smothered the fire which flooded the plains and valleys which housed so many residents. Now, only barren and flooded roads remain as this once flourishing, beautiful world is constantly bombarded by never-ending rains. Life only exists because of adaptability. Otherwise, nothing would exist, but a decimated planet. As the nights continue on through time, the stars do not shine as bright as they once did. Moonlight becomes faded storm clouds created by loneliness, discontent and longing sensations. Feelings of inadequacy are lightning bolts that strike the mountains and leave craters as if the stars fell from Heaven. Cries to existence are crashing thunder that shake the foundation of this realm to its core. When will the storm cease and the waters recede? When will the flame that burned hotter than the sun be ignited once more? When will this world see peace again?...
Reason for writing:
Sometimes situations can make you feel that hiding in the shadows is what's best for everyone. Especially if you feel that you can't be a light in the darkness.
